We will be using a writing program entitled Being a Writer. I will be modeling good writing skills for your child to learn how to write. Below is a list of skills that your child should master by the end of the year:
- write paragraphs about a single topic that address audience and purpose
- participate in daily writing activities
- use steps of the writing process
- write responses to text
- write letters
- write poetry
